Through its flagship program, YESummit, the foundation empowers entrepreneurs with essential skills like business ideation, market analysis, financial literacy, digital tools, branding, marketing, and packaging, fostering self-employment and improving livelihoods.

WHY YESUMMIT

The purpose of this summit is to bring 1st generation rural, tribal and urban young people and women entrepreneurs together on one platform to learn the nuances of idea generation, business plan, help them to do market study and explore business opportunity and finally to provide counseling to link with banks and start up eco-system in the country and abroad.

19th to 20th
The YouthAid Foundation's Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YESummit) began

In 2016 with the 1st summit held on November 19-20 in Pune. It aimed to provide a pragmatic platform for incubators, startups, and entrepreneurs to showcase and exchange business ideas. Over the years, YESummit evolved into an annual event, partnering with various institutions, governments, and industry experts.

November 2017
18th to 20th
The 2nd YESummit

Held from November 18-20, 2017, at Tata Motors Training Centre, Pune, explored challenges hindering startups and offered solutions for entrepreneurial growth.

January 2019
10th to 12th
The 3rd YESummit

In 2019, the 3rd summit focused on capacity building, legal compliance, and exploring diverse industries, taking place from January 10-12.

February 2020
5th to 8th
The 4th YESummit

Introduced the formation of YES clubs and offered in-depth guidance from industry experts over four days.

August 2021
10th to 14th
The 5th YESummit

Celebrated India’s 75th Independence year with a 16-day bootcamp, followed by an event from August 10-14 that featured discussions with global speakers and startup investors.

August 2022
10th to 12th
The 6th YESummit

It took place on August 10-12, 2022, at Adamas University in Kolkata, in
collaboration with the university, offering another impactful platform for youth entrepreneurship.

January 2024
10th to 13th
The 7th YESummit

YESummit kicked off with an inter-institute challenge on October 31 at CHRIST College, Pune. With over 1,465 students participating in various sub events and 32 business ideas presented, the event emphasized entrepreneurship exposure. An 8-day bootcamp equipped participants with key skills, and the main event featured 25 incubators presenting
their business ideas. The summit concluded with the selection of ten outstanding business ideas and the provision of expert mentorship to winners.

Through these seven events, YESummit has become a significant platform for fostering
entrepreneurship and innovation, nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

February 2025
20th to 22nd
The 8th YESummit

The 8th YESummit aims to identify, orient, and network with over 200 plus aspiring and existing micro-entrepreneurs across key thematic sectors. This state-level initiative seeks to empower entrepreneurs through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and access to resources, fostering sustainable business growth and innovation.

Pre-YESummit Events (November 2024 - January 2025)​

Various events will be organized to identify the best business ideas for pitching at the summit.

A 7-day online boot camp will guide participants to enhance their presentations and readiness for the national event.

ABOUT NATIONAL YESUMMIT

National YESummit (February 2025, Bengaluru): This two-and-a-half-day event will be organized in a hybrid format. The summit aims to bring together entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors. Along with incubation sessions, there will be an additional Accelerator Program for entrepreneurs with a minimum annual turnover of ₹10 lakhs, offering them the chance to pitch for funding and business acceleration.
